상업 체육시설(스포츠센터) 관리자의 리더십 유형이 인게이지먼트(Engagement)와 직무성과에 미치는 영향

초록

This study investigates the impact of leadership styles on engagement and job performance among employees in the sports industry. The research was conducted with 312 participants from commercial sports facilities, categorizing leadership into transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire styles to analyze their respective influences. The findings revealed that leadership providing intellectual stimulation and laissez-faire leadership positively affected the vitality component of engagement. In contrast, charismatic leadership had a negative impact on the commitment component, and among the engagement factors, only vitality showed a significant positive correlation with job performance. This study offers critical insights for the development of leadership and team management strategies in commercial sports facilities. However, the research is limited to the metropolitan area, which constrains the generalizability of the results. Future studies should expand the scope to various regions and analyze differences in leadership types and motivation across different sizes and operators of sports facilities.
