초록

A compact, bendable and dual-band antenna is presented in this work. The presented antenna has a triangular patch with two inverted L-shaped stubs which offers two bands at 3.45 GHz and 5.15 GHz. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) having permittivity of 2.77 is used as a substrate, while multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT)-PDMS composite having conductivity of 105 S/m is utilized for the radiating element and ground plane. The proposed antenna is fabricated and measured for both on and off body applications. The fabrication process and material preparation process are discussed in detail. The conformal analysis of the proposed antenna is also performed to claim flexibility, where the antenna is bended towards X-axis and Y-axis over cylinder of different radii. The equivalent circuit model is also constructed for the proposed antenna and it's the S-parameter of ECM and antenna is compared. The good agreement is noted between comparison of bending with flat, measured with simulated and ECM with antenna. For wearable applications, the antenna is placed on human body model and SAR analysis are performed. The SAR values offered are within the safety limitations set by the IEEE and the FCC. Furthermore, the proposed antenna performance parameters and key features are compared with recent published work. The results offered and comparison table make the proposed antenna a good choice for flexible and wearable portable electronic devices
