병원전략경영의 이해와 실천적 함의

초록

The purposes of paper are to enhance understanding in healthcare strategy through comprehensive review of empirical investigations, and, based on this, to provide practical implications for Korean hospitals. Given the absence of relevant reviews in assessing an external validity of strategy research in the healthcare industry, the paper, by taking convergent view, discern two main streams of research in healthcare strategy: (1) corporate strategy(the strategy- structure -performance (SSP) contingent), and (2) competitive strategy which test the propositions that business strategy, industry structure (IO economics). Finally, based on the results, the paper suggests practical implications for hospitals in Korea.
