초록
This study investigates the effects of menstruation on the mood states during exercise, competitive states anxiety, and perceived performance among KLPGA 1st division tour players, with a focus on the influence of medication use. The findings reveal that athletes experienced the highest levels of discomfort and reluctance to exercise during menstruation, while confidence and perceived performance peaked post-menstruation. Additionally, the study identified a significant difference in state confidence between medication users and non-users, with non-users exhibiting higher confidence. These results highlight the importance of non-pharmacological alternatives and structured management programs to address physical discomfort and enhance psychological stability during menstruation. The insights from this study contribute to a deeper understanding of the interplay between physiological changes and psychological well-being in professional female athletes, offering practical implications for optimizing athletic performance through tailored support systems.
