초록

The global effort for sustainable energy storage has greatly increased the need for advanced electrochemical devices that maintain a balance between high energy and power densities, along with stability. To address these challenges, we developed a novel ferrocene-based polymer electrode, Fc-SO3Li@BiOI@TEVS-SiO2, for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors. By integrating the redox-active Fc-SO3Li with BiOI nanosheets and a porous TEVS-SiO2 coating, the composite achieves synergistic enhancements in energy density, power delivery, and cycling stability. Electrochemical analyses reveal a specific capacity of 3020.48C/g at 1 A/g, with 93% capacity retention after 10,000 cycles, attributed to the reversible Fc/Fc(+) redox couple and BiOI's high capacitance (620C/g). The TEVS-SiO2 matrix enhances ion accessibility, yielding a surface area of similar to 300 m(2)/g and a diffusion coefficient of similar to 10(-10) cm(2)/s. Cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge tests demonstrate a hybrid charge storage mechanism, combining pseudocapacitive and electric double-layer contributions, with a b-value of 0.88 indicating dominant surface-controlled kinetics at high scan rates. The electrode delivers an energy density of 45 Wh/kg at 500 W/kg and a power density of 2217 W/kg, surpassing conventional materials. These findings position the composite as a scalable, durable solution for next-generation energy storage, addressing critical demands in renewable energy and electric vehicle applications.
