Renewable energy storing units are a basic demand of 21st century. Although a variety of devices are available on the market these days, among them, Supercapacitors are the best-known storage devices, known for high storage capacity and durability. Hence, the electrode CdMoO4/rGO was synthesized via hydrothermal synthesis for supercapacitor applications. The hybrid electrode was tested by using a variety of physical techniques. The crystallinity and functional group of CdMoO4/rGO were determined through X-ray diffraction and FTIR. The higher specific surface area (SSA) was confirmed via BET spectra. For electrochemical evaluation, the nickel foam substrate was used under basic electrolyte. The synthesized CdMoO4/rGO was examined electrochemically in a 3 M KOH and proved to be an excellent electrode material by demonstrating a enhanced Cs value of (1055 F g-1) with Ed (28 Wh kg-1). CV confirmed high redox behavior, while the EIS confirmed low resistance and good conductivity. These materials have a strong appeal for future storage applications due to their high electrochemical performance and renewable nature.
