초록

This study performed finite element analysis on flexible, non-metallic end and mid connectors for hydrogen piping, focusing on structural integrity and sealing performance. Boundary conditions were varied to identify stress concentrations in the collet, fiber reinforced plastic layer, and elastomers (e.g., ethylene-propylene diene monomer), while examining design variables such as removing outer pipes or resizing sealing materials. The results show that modifying connector geometry and material parameters can mitigate local stress peaks and maintain sufficient contact pressure, enhancing overall stability and sealing reliability. These findings offer key insights for future design improvements and the safe, efficient development of hydrogen piping connectors.
