A Study on the Effect of Power System Stability by Internal and External Contigencies of Complex Energy Hub

초록

Korea Gas Corporation is developing a complex energy platform using natural gas, electricity, hydrogen, and heat. As a part of that, a Turbo Expander Generator(TEG) that generates electricity by turning a turbine with the power to lower the gas pressure at a gas static pressure station has been developed, and it is being installed at the complex energy hub demonstration site. In this paper, we analyze the effect of TEG on the power system when a TEG generator that produces electricity has an electrical contingency inside or outside the complex energy hub. We want to analyze the reactive power and voltage of the system required for this purpose. In addition, when the voltage cannot be maintained in the expected failure, it is intended to suggest a method of using a reactive power compensator to improve it. This is expected to contribute to stably increasing power production by optimally operating the TEG in operating a hybrid energy hub in the future.
