한국어교육의 문법 기술 내용 확장을 위한 시론 -‘완전’, ‘-었어서’를 중심으로-

A preliminary study on expanding Korean language education grammar - focusing on ‘wanjeon’ and ‘-eosseoseo’ -

초록

This study aims to discuss ways of describing Korean language education grammar for cases where the actual language use of native Korean speakers does not coincide with normative grammar. To this end, the study focuses on ‘wanjeon’ and ‘-eosseoseo’ to examine the issue of normativity in Korean language education grammar, the selection of items when incorporating non-normative linguistic elements into Korean language education, and the organization of their content. Normative grammar tends to have incompleteness in content and a conservatism that fails to immediately reflect language change. While the description of grammar in Korean language education should refer to normative grammar, it also needs to maintain autonomy from it in order to improve learners’ communicative competence. When selecting non-normative linguistic elements for inclusion in Korean language education grammar, it is necessary to consider whether the element can be regarded as an independent lexical/grammatical item. In this process, the acceptability of the element and its distinctiveness in terms of form, distribution, and meaning can serve as criteria. When incorporating non-normative linguistic elements into the grammatical description for Korean language education, the content information should include normativity information as well as comparative information with normative lexical/grammatical elements related to the item.
